What should we bring to the first conversation?
A rough description is enough. If useful, bring six things:
- what the organisation does and approximate scale;
- problem in one sentence;
- current data/infrastructure state;
- who owns the result after launch;
- real timeline or decision pressure; and
- relevant security, procurement, regulatory or compliance constraints.
The call can identify whether the next step is no-build, a direct route, a focused review or a paid Assessment. It does not weaken the Assessment boundary: evidence collection, baseline/value analysis, readiness scoring, production gates and a decision package remain paid work.
